Baptism

One Lord, one faith, one baptism. (Ephesians 4:5)

We believe Baptism is a free gift from God. Through baptism God makes each individual a part of the family of God. We baptize in response to Jesus’ command to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit” (Matt 28:19). As Lutherans we also believe that baptism is an unconditional gift and Jesus encourages children be baptized (Matt 19:14).
To learn more about baptism, whether for an adult or a child, please contact a member of our ministry team. To help you prepare for the discussion on baptism it would be helpful to complete a Baptism Registration Form which is available in the church office.
