October 11th – Thanksgiving – Pentecost 19

Join the Thanksgiving service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmonton. Thanksgiving was to have been our first in-person indoor service but with the rise in Covid cases in our area we have limited our Thanksgiving celebration to online only. We hope you enjoy worshipping with us.

October 4th – 18th Sunday of Pentecost

Welcome to the 18th Sunday of Pentecost at Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmonton. Today our service focusses on the third element in our Mission statement – the Love of God.
All are welcome.

Communion Online

Some of our remote services include Holy Communion.
FAQ’s about virtual communion:

1. I don’t have communion wafers or wine at home. What can I use?
— For bread, use any kind of bread or crackers. For wine, use red or white wine, grape juice or other juice, or water.
2. I will participate with my housemates. Can we give the bread and wine to each other?
— Yes, please do! Pause the video at the point where Pastor Ingrid eats and drinks, and hand the bread and wine to each other. As you do so, you are invited to say these words to each other: “The body of Christ, given for you” and “The blood of Christ, shed for you.”
3. I am home alone. Who will say the words to me?
— Our pastors say them to you in the video.
