The Baptism of Our Lord
Sunday Worship – January 10, 2021
Welcome to Trinity Lutheran – today we remember and reflect on the Baptism of Our Lord, Jesus. It marks the end of the season of Christmas and ushers in the season of Epiphany. We are especially pleased to have Pastor Eileen Edwards share the message today as Pastor Ingrid and Pastor Erin take some much-needed time off. Come and worship.
Christmas at Trinity
The first Sunday of Christmas – December 27
Welcome to worship on the First Sunday in Christmas. Our worship today is taken largely from our Christmas Day worship service with the addition of a few highlights from the past week: the Christmas pageant and the Trinity choir singing a Christmas Blessing (virtual choir). Thank you for worshipping with us today.
Christmas Day
It’s Christmas Day – let’s celebrate in worship. Carols, lessons, and reflections to brighten your Christmas. This service combines some English and some German elements into a single Christmas Day service. This Christmas Day service will also serve as our worship service for Sunday, December 27th. Thank you for joining us.
Christmas Eve
We are very pleased to be able to share three services on Christmas Eve: a family service, an English candlelight service, and a German candlelight service.
You are invited to Join us for a special Christmas Eve Family service. Lots of special stories and special musicians make this wonderful service memorable, even if you are missing in-person worship this Christmas Eve. All are welcome.
The Christmas Eve candlelight service is always a highlight of our worship together at Trinity. Many special guests and musical friends have contributed to making this year’s virtual service a highlight as usual. May you experience the peace that comes from understanding the miracle of Christmas. Welcome to worship this Christmas Eve.
Or join us and our guests to celebrate “Heilg Abend” (Christmas Eve) in German. Special music, candlelight and special stories make this a beautiful worship experience. Alle sind herzlich willkommen.

Communion Online
Some of our remote services include Holy Communion.
FAQ’s about virtual communion:
1. I don’t have communion wafers or wine at home. What can I use?
— For bread, use any kind of bread or crackers. For wine, use red or white wine, grape juice or other juice, or water.
2. I will participate with my housemates. Can we give the bread and wine to each other?
— Yes, please do! Pause the video at the point where Pastor Ingrid eats and drinks, and hand the bread and wine to each other. As you do so, you are invited to say these words to each other: “The body of Christ, given for you” and “The blood of Christ, shed for you.”
3. I am home alone. Who will say the words to me?
— Our pastors say them to you in the video.
