Ash Wednesday Service: Wednesday, March 2nd @ 7 PM

Join us tonight, in-person or online, for a combined English and German service with readings, music, homilies, and ashes. The imposition of ashes will be done by you! Small containers of ashes will be handed out as you enter, and you will be invited to make the sign of the cross on your own forehead at the appropriate time.

FAQ’s about virtual communion:

1. I don’t have communion wafers or wine at home. What can I use?
— For bread, use any kind of bread or crackers. For wine, use red or white wine, grape juice or other juice, or water.
2. I will participate with my housemates. Can we give the bread and wine to each other?
— Yes, please do! Pause the video at the point where Pastor Ingrid eats and drinks, and hand the bread and wine to each other. As you do so, you are invited to say these words to each other: “The body of Christ, given for you” and “The blood of Christ, shed for you.”
3. I am home alone. Who will say the words to me?
— Our pastors say them to you in the video.
