Introducing Our New Conference Room
We have renovated the former Youth Room on the second floor and turned it into a beautiful conference room. The walls have been painted, the carpet has been steam-cleaned, and new tables have been purchased. We also plan on buying some new chairs.
Two 12-Step support groups will hold their weekly meetings in the room (on Thursdays and Fridays), and Bethel Mandarin Church will worship in there on Sunday mornings. The yoga group started by our late member Camilla Witt also showed interest in using the room. When available, the new conference room will be open to occasional rentals.
One of our members has graciously made a donation to help offset the renovation costs, but other donations are welcome at this time.
The youth will still have a space at Trinity, in the former Council Room, also located on the second floor.
Messy Lunch Picnics
CALLING ALL FAMILIES with YOUNG KIDS!!! Trinity is going to be hosting “Messy Lunch Picnics” once a month this fall. This program is geared towards young families and aimed at helping kids 12 and under engage in Bible lessons. Food and a program will be provided! The first date is Sunday, October 30th after the service. Please RSVP to the office with the number of people in your family and any dietary considerations by Wednesday, October 26th.

Banquet Tickets Now Available Electronically As Well
Reminisce. Meet old and new friends. Share a meal together. Trinity is celebrating its 120 Anniversary in a number of ways this year, including hosting a Homecoming Banquet on November 12th, 2022, starting at 5 PM in our Luther Centre. The evening will feature a gourmet catered meal with a program to follow that will celebrate Trinity yesterday, today, and tomorrow. You can purchase tickets at the church on Sundays, from the church office during office hours, or via Interac, using the following email address: tickets@trinity-lutheran.ab.ca. The cost of a ticket is $40.00/adult; $15.00 for children 5 – 12. If you buy the tickets electronically, please include your full name and the number of tickets you wish to purchase. You can pick up the ticket(s) at the door when you arrive. Whatever your history with Trinity, long or short, come celebrate together!

New Bible Studies
We are gearing up for Bible studies again!
Mark your calendars and get excited! Wednesday evenings from 6:45 to 7:45 PM (via Zoom) and Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 AM (hybrid), we will dig in & explore some familiar stories & passages.

Our archivists Barb Ritter and Trudy Davis are looking for pictures from the past 20 years to continue with the Trinity Lutheran Historical Albums and possibly display at the November 12 Homecoming service and banquet. If you have photos that you would like to share from church services, Sunday school, marriages, baptisms, confirmation, funerals, various church group activities, committee work, causal and formal, all are welcome! Trinity’s Masking Policy
The Church Council has decided to formally amend the current COVID policy regarding wearing face masks. Trinity’s new policy is that wearing face masks in worship or at Trinity gatherings is optional (most recently the policy recommended face masks be worn by all). We still encourage worship or group leaders to consider masking when serving others personally, and we continue to encourage members who are feeling unwell to consider participating in events virtually rather than in person. Thank you for continuing to safeguard the health and well-being of our community.
